Scholar Consult Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "We"/"Our"/"Us".) acknowledges the importance of personal information (which can be used to identify specific individuals) and strives to ensure appropriate handling for the acquisition, storage, use, disposal etc. and safe management of the same, so as to retain the confidence of its customers.
1. Purpose of use of personal information
We clearly indicate the purpose of use to customers in advance when requesting personal information from them. We do not use personal information for any purposes other than the indicated purpose of use without the consent of the customer.

- To deliver information on opportunities for seminars, dialog sessions etc., publications, and various services provided by Us, Ltd.
- To confirm various applications, registrations and acceptances.
- To send invoices and confirm payments for various services, seminars etc.
Please note that in addition to the above, We may determine purposes of use individually based on questionnaires etc.
2. Disclosure and provision to third parties
We may provide the personal information provided by customers to Our affiliated companies to achieve the purposes of use as clearly indicated. Otherwise, We do not disclose such information to third parties, except in the following cases:
- Where the consent of the customer has been obtained
- When outsourcing the handling of personal information to partners, affiliated companies, and outsourcing contractors who have concluded a non-disclosure agreement on personal information with Us within the scope required to achieve the purposes of use as clearly indicated to customers.
- When requested by juridical public offices, police and administrative agencies, court order and other circumstances authorized requests by statute.
3. Management of personal information
We strictly manage personal information provided by customers, and take preventive measures to guard against unauthorized access, loss, damage, modification, leak etc. We take swift remedial measures in the event of any such incident.
4. Reference/change/deletion etc. of personal information
When We ask customers to provide personal information, We clearly indicate Our contact point. If a customer would like any reference, change or deletion etc. to the details of the customer's personal information, the customer should inquire to the contact point in question. Once We confirm that the relevant inquiry has been made by the customer to whom such details refer, We shall disclose, modify or delete the personal information of the customer as required and within a reasonable period.
Handling of personal information in Work Collaboration Review
We make every effort to ensure the proper management of the personal information of the members (hereinafter referred to as "Members") of an association (hereinafter referred to as "Your Association") who use "Work Collaboration Review" (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").
1. Definition of personal information
We obtain and manage the following personal information of Members when providing Our Service:
- E-mail address
- Password
- Response information (defined in Article 2 of The Terms of Service of the Work Collaboration Review)
2. Purpose of use of personal information
We only use the personal information of Members for the following purposes and do not provide the same to any third party without Members' consent, except for the following purposes:
- When providing the Service
- When contacting with regard to the Service operation
- When conducting questionnaires etc. to enhance the convenience of the Service
- To prevent breach of the current terms of the Service
- To create statistical data and develop future products and Services
- To outsource work of statistical data. However, We conclude a non-disclosure agreement between the outsourcing contractor in question and Ourselves, and thus protect the personal information of Members.
Please note We may statistically process data obtained from questionnaires such as registry information, response information or total information etc. and publicize it in a form which prevents individuals from being identified.
3. Acquisition of personal information
We obtain personal information legitimately and fairly with Members' consent. When obtaining personal information of Members indirectly, We also confirm whether the personal information was obtained by the provider by legitimate and fair means.
4. Disclosure and provision to third parties
Other than disclosures to Our affiliate companies in order to achieve the purposes of use as clearly indicated, we do not disclose personal information of Members to third parties except in the following cases:
- Where the consent of Members is obtained
- When outsourcing the handling of personal information of Members to partners, affiliated companies, and outsourcing contractors who have concluded a non-disclosure agreement on personal information with Us within the scope required to achieve the purposes of use as clearly indicated to customers.
- When requested by juridical public offices, police and administrative agencies, court order and other circumstances authorized by statute.
5. Deposition of personal information
We may deposit personal information externally to operate the service or implement the purpose of use.
6. Links to other websites/cookies
This site may link to third party websites other than the site of Ours. We provide links to such websites solely for the convenience of Your Association, and these should not be construed as implying any recommendation for use of the same websites or the products and the services they advertise. Third party websites are managed and operated at the responsibility of each corporation or individual party respectively and We assume no responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of any such contents provided.
We also disclaim all responsibility for any damages resulting from the use of any linked website. Such linked websites should be used in accordance with the terms provided by the website and at Your Association's own responsibility.
